Harry and Meghan will attend the Invictus Games in Sydney together
Following months of speculation, bride-to-be Meghan Markle, 36, has allegedly confirmed she will be keeping Prince Harry company on an official visit to Australia later in the year.
The newlyweds will jet off to Sydney for the Invictus Games, a sporting event for wounded, injured or sick armed service personnel, of which His Royal Highness is a patron.
Harry is no stranger to life down under, having visited Perth in 2013 and Sydney in 2017.
However, for Meghan it will be the first time she has visited the far-flung country.
Meghan let the news slip when she travelled to the University of Bath with her husband-to-be to meet hopeful athletes trialling to compete at the games this October.

She told me she had never been to Australia but was going to this year’s event and really looking forward to being there with Harry.
She reportedly told the news to Michael Mellon, a wheelchair athlete who specialises in shot put, basketball and sitting volleyball, it was reported by OK! Magazine.
“She told me she had never been to Australia but was going to this year’s event and really looking forward to being there with Harry,” Mellon told reporter Omid Scobie.
The couple met wounded, sick and injured military personal and veterans and watched spot put competitors, 1,500 metre runners and volleyball players.
Meghan dressed down for the event, wearing a khaki trench coat accompanied with an Invictus Games zip neck fleece worn underneath.
However, despite the low key look, her outfit still managed to come with a royal price tag, costing thousands of pounds, Express.co.uk reported earlier this month.
Sydney is the fourth city of host the Invictus Games, with London being the first host city in 2014, followed by Orlando in 2016 and Toronto last year.
At the time, Ms Markle’s appearance with the Prince in Toronto caused a frenzy of media attention, in the run-up to his proposal to the brunette beauty.
It was one of the first public displays of affection caught on camera between the pair.
The loved-up couple could be seen hugging and exchanging a kiss on the balcony at the closing ceremony.
Harry got down on one knee to the former Suits actress shortly after, proposing on 27, November 2017, sixteen months after dating.
Sydney will host the next Invictus Games
Since the proposal, Harry and Meghan have been on many royal outings together including her first to Nottingham where the couple attended a charity engagement.
They have also visited Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Birmingham among other UK cities, as part of their royal engagement calendar.
However, Meghan can rest assured that she will not need her winter coat for the big trip to Sydney.
With the average daily temperature set at 18C in October, along with nine hours of daily sunshine, the gorgeous bride can expect excellent weather conditions.
The royal wedding is due to take place on 19, May 2018 at Windsor Castle.
