Google Maps is one of the easiest ways to see parts of the world which are normally hard to reach.
The street view tool has gained widespread popularity among eager travellers who like to get a preview of their next holiday destination.
But it has also become a key tool for conspiracy theorists, and now an image of a lone figure in the Roswell area has sparked questions.
Roswell has been a key location for UFO believers since a US Army Air Forces balloon crashed in a ranch near the town in 1947.
And now a new layer of mystery has been added to the town thanks to something captured on street view.

The Google car took images along Route 380 in New Mexico, and photographed something unusual.
A lone woman can be seen walking along the side of the road, which in itself is a bizarre sight as the road is not used by pedestrians normally.
Dressed in a sundress and heeled boots, the woman is clearly not a hiker.
She wheels a suitcase behind her – but it is not clear where she has come from, or where she is going.
The stretch of road she is on is in the middle of nowhere, with only desert either side as far as the eye can see.

This is not the only unusual sighting the Google Maps car has made on its travels.
The most recent discovery appears to be a portal to another dimension.
Spotted on Cherry Dale Road in Chester, nothing appears out of the ordinary.
The quiet road is home to a number of quaint houses and gardens with a few pedestrians out on the street.
Yet when moving through the area, the whole world changes and it becomes a multicoloured world of geometric shapes.

Could it be a different dimension discovered by the Google Maps camera?
Thankfully it is simply a glitch which often happens online.
